Since this is the official website of the Serial Killer Calendar , we feel it is appropriate to include a detailed list of every historical events dealing with these killers. In this section, you can select any date of the year from the list on the left to find out exactly what happened on that day in serial killer history. Whether it is a killer's birthday, an execution, a murder or any other major event, you will find it here. Understand that this is a massive, on-going project and the staff of Serialkillercalendar.com will continuously add to the list of events that appear here. If you know of any event that is missing from this section, please contact us and (after our staff checks it for accuracy) we will be happy to include it on our site. January 12 , 1975 - Ted Bundy
On January 12, 1975, Caryn Campbell; her fiancé, Dr. Raymond Gadowski; and his two children took a trip to Colorado . Caryn hoped she could enjoy the break away from work and spend more time with the children, while her fiancé attended a seminar. While relaxing in the lounge of her hotel with Gadowski and his son and daughter one night, she realized she had forgotten a magazine and returned to her room to retrieve it. Her fiancé and the children waited for her return in vain. He knew she was a bit ill that night and went back to the room to see if she needed help. Caryn was nowhere in sight. In fact, she had never made it to the room. By mid-morning, confused and worried, Gadowski informed the police of her disappearance. They searched every room in the hotel but they found no trace of Caryn. They later learned that she had become one of the many victims of Ted Bundy. (CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE FULL BIO OF TED BUNDY) |
