This bio is presented a little different from the others. We are allowing Wayne to describe himself and his actions in his own words. After a very brief description of his crimes, we present you with the only document interview Wayne has ever given. And now, Wayne Lo in his own words...

"Hi, I'm Wayne Lo. On December 14, 1992, I became the first deadly school shooter of the 90's when I killed two and injured four on the campus of Simon's Rock College in Great Barrington, MA. Even though I am serving two life sentences and will die in prison, I need to do something to give back to my victims. I will never be able to fully repay for what I have taken from this world, but it doesn't mean I shouldn't try. My friend Zach and I have setup skid lo.com where we sell my memorabilia and all the money we make goes to Mr. Gregory Gibson (father of victim Galen Gibson and author of Gone Boy). He will make sure the money goes to the right people and places."

INTERVIEW WITH WAYNE LO

Zach: What was it like when you went on the shooting? Were you calm? Anxious? Explain it to me.

Wayne Lo: I was calm when I went on the shooting. I thought I was on a mission from God. I know, it sounds ridiculous now but I actually believed it then. I wasn't nervous or disorganized. I was calm but with a lot of anger. I just shot at anything that moved in front of me. The plan was to attack Simon's Rock College so I guess I succeeded. I didn't really have a step by step plan as to who or where I was going to shoot at.

Zach: What did you think of the Columbine shooting when it occurred?

Wayne Lo: I watched Columbine unfold on TV. It was weird to watch because how many people can actually say "I did that too"? The ironic thing is the guys who carried out the Columbine attack would fit in well at Simon's Rock. Simon's Rock is a school for high school outcasts. Although they may not officially acknowledge it, everyone knows it. I attended SRC to get away from home, not H.S. I became an outcast at SRC because all the other outcasts became the majority. So there weren't jocks or preppies at SRC. I guess I was the jock, so it was a reverse Columbine. But of course I felt horrible for everyone at Columbine because no school shootings should happen, especially 7 years after SRC shootings.

Zach: Some claim that you were a member of the religious right and that your delusions at the time were caused by your extreme religious beliefs. Do you still hold these beliefs?

Wayne Lo: I was always an atheist. Actually, atheism means there is no God. So I guess an atheist would believe in God if God's existence were ever proven. But I don't believe in God even if you can prove God's existence without any doubt what so ever! I wonder what's the term for such a belief? It's like a fundamentalist Christian who doesn't believe in evolution even though it's a scientific fact. So I guess I'd be a fundamentalist atheist or something! But when I thought I was on a mission from God, I was actually filled with so much anger and hate that I would rather believe in God and kill than to not kill. That was how angry I was.

Zach: Do you believe that you are or have ever been mentally ill?

Wayne Lo: I don't believe I was or am mentally ill because, well, I guess I cannot give you any scientific or factual answer because I didn't study psychiatry. But it's quite obvious I function pretty normally and don't need any drugs to help me get through the day. I'm not Tom Cruise or a scientologist. I believe some people truly need the help because they have some kind of chemical imbalance in their brain and need drugs to correct the defect, but obviously I am not one of them. The psychiatrists who diagnosed me as mentally ill were paid as defense witnesses so of course they came to that conclusion. Because the prosecution shrinks said I was not mentally ill at all! So who are you gonna believe?

Zach: What do you think about guns now, and what should we as a nation do to control gun violence?

Wayne Lo: Well, guns are fascinating I guess. Projectile weapons are obviously the fascination of all humans. It's like a archetypal belief in all our minds or something! To launch a weapon from point A to B. I guess that's the fascination. Plus I really can't stand the sight of blood so knives and swords are not effective weapons for me. But I believe there should be stricter gun control. Certainly no one should be able to walk into a store and leave with a gun. I think the waiting period thing is a good deterrent. It certainly would have stopped my rampage because weeks wait would have thwarted my plans. Law abiding citizens can certainly own guns but they don't need to be able to get it right away. If something life and death comes up, they can always call the cops.

Zach: How would you live your life if ever let out of prison?

Wayne Lo: First off, let us just understand there is no way I will ever be let out of prison. I have consecutive life sentences plus a 19-20 year sentence on and after my second life sentence! But for the sake of fantasy, If I get out, I would obviously like to get a job. I would want to find a special woman to settle down with, but I don't want kids. I never wanted kids. I like kids, just none of my own. I would want to take care of my parents of course. I would just lead a normal life like anyone else out there.

Zach: Have you or do you have racist and anti-semitic views like many claimed?

Wayne Lo: It's funny how I labeled as some racist bigot. I mean, does anyone know I am Chinese? No race or creed or sexual preference is special enough for me to waste my time and hate them. Blacks, gays, Jews, they're human just like me. Some of them are assholes that rub me the wrong way, but not because they are black or gay or Jewish! In fact, I think I know more Asian assholes than any other race! So no, I am not a racist in the sense that I think anyone is less or more just cause of their culture. But I do believe in stereotypes though. There are truths to stereotypes. Let's keep it real! But believing in stereotypes does not equal racism in my mind. Because each race believes in stereotypes themselves! Example. For a white person to say all Asians are good at math is deemed racist. Yet, my parents would say to me, "All Asians are good at math so you need to get your math grades up or you're a disgrace to your race!" So why isn't that wrong when a race uses stereotypes to act as a motivation?

Zach: Do you believe that God had anything to do with your "mission"?

Wayne Lo: My actions were a product of my own anger. It's not God or the devil. Maybe I am God or maybe I am the devil. Does it matter? The bottom line is that I hurt so many people and that's that. I am responsible because I was an immature coward who couldn't deal with my own problems. I had to take it out on other innocent by standers. There are no excuses what so ever. I alone am to blame.

Zach: What is prison like for you?

Wayne Lo: Well, I guess I have my own life now in prison. I'm tired talking about prison because people seem to be fascinated with it. We're like 200 animals people wish to observe. Prison is not better or worse. It's just another culture. I belong in prison because I deserve to be punished for the evils I have done. All I can say is it is better to be free than to be in prison.

Zach: Do you believe that your victims were sinners and that they had to die for God's will?

Wayne Lo: Again, I was angry so I had to find some excuse to justify my behavior. Of course my victims were not sinners. My victims were completely innocent individuals caught in the sight of a angry coward. My victims were heroes who risked their own life to save another, while I was trying to destroy lives. I am the only sinner in this whole ordeal. I deserve to be punished for my sins.

Zach: Do you believe you would ever hurt people again?

Wayne Lo: I don't believe I would hurt people physically again. I am just not a violent person. I know that sounds crazy because I killed 2 and injured 4, but that was then. I would not hurt people physically because I know now it is not the way to go. But would I hurt people emotionally? That, I cannot say because certainly emotions are hard to deal with. I've hurt people emotionally even now in prison. Now is that my fault or are they weak? I am not in the position to judge. But I can say without hesitation that I would not attack anyone ever again.

Zach: How do you believe we should prevent future school shootings?

Wayne Lo: There has always been violence. Just that there are more people these days and more interaction between people for friction to ignite. Again, the availability of guns is I think the biggest reason for shootings. Without guns, one cannot inflict so much damage. I believe all school shooters are scared of confrontation as I was. No one would go and try to stab 20 people with a knife because they risk injury to themselves. But when you are armed with a gun and nobody else is, it's unbelievable power and unbelievable false courage. Take away the guns and let's see how many mass school stabbings there would be.

Zach: Do you deserve your sentence in prison for your crime?

Wayne Lo: I deserve my sentence. I deserve to pay with my life. If anything, one can say my sentence is light compared to what I could have received. I could have received the death penalty. Why is Scott Peterson on death row and I am not? I hurt more people than he did yet he will be put to death. Can anyone actually say he deserves death more than I do? So I am lucky to be alive and I feel my sentence was as just as the laws of Massachusetts would allow.

Zach: What would you like to tell young people out there considering a school shooting?

Wayne Lo: Man, when you're young, you don't wanna hear anything from anyone. So I'd be wasting my breath trying to send a message to some kid who's about to do something stupid. I guess we all have something we love. Sure, some people say they hate the world but deep down they still love something, even if the only love they have is of hate! So what if they took away the only thing they loved? I guess my point is if you don't want the thing you love to be taken away, don't take away someone else's love. But again, you think anyone will listen to me?
